Medical Grant Program
The purpose of The Medical Grant Program is to support families and individuals who are experiencing a financial burden or hardship due to medical circumstances of themselves, their spouse, or their child.
Grants will be given based upon need and personal circumstance. The grant monies are designed to be used to help relieve the added financial burden due to medical circumstances. If you find yourself, your spouse or your child experiencing a medical condition and are in need of some financial relief, due to income loss, needing to travel for medical treatment, paying for medication etc., our grants are designed for you.
It is our intention to help relieve some of the added stress individuals and families face when unexpected health issues arise.
Deadline:
Applications are open year round until the funding for that year is fully distributed. Upon which time, applications will be closed until the following year.
Grant Guidelines:
All recipients must be a Canadian citizen.
All recipients must be experiencing a medical/ health condition or have a spouse or child who is.
Recipients must apply for the grant by the deadline.
Grants will be awarded based on financial need and personal circumstance.
All Recipients must be from Fort Nelson, BC; Logan Lake, BC or Kamloops, BC.
All applicants must apply by fully completing the online application form and submitting the essay questions and, if requested completing an interview.
The grant funding will be distributed directly to the chosen applicants once all documentation requested is received.
Family Members of Jason and Cheryl Paige are not eligible to apply
